We are a General Practice based in St Johns Square, in Limerick city, serving the population of Limerick and its environs since 1978, when Dr Bryan Scanlon opened the practice. He has been succeeded by Dr Nicola Stapleton, a Limerick native and Dublin graduate, who works alongside Nurse Mary Brennan and Ms Karen O'Keeffe, continuing to serve the local community.

There are practice restrictions due to the ongoing Covid 19 pandemic.We are always available for consultation, which may have to be remote consultations initially because of the pandemic .
If you need to be clinically assessed or have investigations eg bloods tests, you will be offered an appointment in the surgery


We request that all patients phone the surgery before attending, so we can arrange the most appropriate way of assessment.

We request that all patient wear a face mask in the surgery to help keep everyone safe.
